If you could create/select a new subject that had to be taught in high school, what would it be, and why?
I really would have liked a class in which to learn how to do my taxes, balance a checkbook, draft a resume, and conduct myself with proper business etiquette. Those not only are necessary life skills, but completely overlooked in the public education system. In fact, it would have just been nice to have taken a class centered around practical life skills in the real world because, honestly? I have no idea how to do my taxes, nor do I know how to balance a checkbook, nor am I particularly financially responsible. I don't know, it just would have been nice not to have to rabidly Google things and hope that I'm doing them correctly.
